Note: make sure the engine is running before switching on the rear window defroster.

Rear window heater

Press the button to remove thin ice and condensation from the rear window. Press the button again to switch the system off. It switches off automatically after 10 minutes or when the ignition is switched off.

Note: Do not use razor blades or other sharp objects to clean or remove stickers from the inside of the rear window. Vehicle warranty does not cover damage to the defroster grid lines.

Cabin air filter

The vehicle is equipped with a cabin air filter located behind the centre console.

The filter system reduces the concentration of airborne particles, such as dust, spores and pollen, in the air entering the vehicle cabin.

Note: Make sure a cabin air filter is always installed. This prevents foreign matter from entering the system. Operating the system without a filter installed may wear or damage the system.

The filter system offers the driver and passengers the following benefits:

• Improves driving comfort by reducing the concentration of particulates.
• Improves cabin cleanliness.
• Protects the climate control components from particulate deposits.

Replace the filter at regular intervals. See Scheduled Maintenance.
