DANGER
Compressed air can act as an explosive or propellant, with possible serious, even fatal, injury.Never leave the kit unattended during use. Failure to follow this instruction may result in fatal personal injury.
Do not run the compressor for more than 10 minutes. This may cause the compressor to malfunction, resulting in serious personal injury.Only use the temporary mobility kit supplied with the vehicle. If unsuitable kits are used, the tyres may not inflate.
- Park the vehicle at the roadside so as not to obstruct the flow of traffic, and in conditions where the kit can be used safely.
- Apply the parking brake, even if the vehicle is parked on level ground, to prevent it from moving.
- Do not try to remove foreign objects such as nails or screws that may have punctured the tyre.
- Leave the engine running while using the kit, except if the vehicle is in an enclosed or poorly ventilated area (for example, inside a building). In such cases, operate the compressor with the engine switched off.
- Replace the sealant bottle with a new one before the expiry date (see the top of the bottle).
- Inform all other vehicle users that the tyre has been temporarily repaired with the kit. Warn them that special driving conditions must be observed.
