Recommended Fuel - Vehicles with Gasoline Engines
In this manual: Before Driving
~1min read
Your engine is designed to run on high-quality unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 95 or higher (Research Octane Number).
There may be situations where gasoline with the required octane rating (Research Octane Number) is not available. In these cases, you may temporarily use gasoline with a lower octane rating, provided that this does not cause engine knocking. Using unsuitable fuel may result in reduced engine power.
Using leaded gasoline will damage the catalytic converter and the engine. In addition, such gasoline has a harmful effect on the environment.
