Carrying Items in the Passenger Compartment
In this manual: Before Driving
~1min read
Secure items carried in the passenger compartment to prevent them from shifting in the event of sudden braking or a traffic accident.
Make sure that items placed on the floor behind the front seats cannot roll forward and interfere with the driver's ability to operate the pedals freely or with proper adjustment of the front seats.
Do not place items on the floor that are taller than the tops of the front seatbacks.
Keep the glove box lid closed while the vehicle is in motion.
An open glove box lid can injure the front passenger's knees in the event of a sudden stop or a collision.
