Refueling the Fuel Tank

1. When approaching the fuel dispenser at a service station, position the vehicle so that the driver's side faces the dispenser.
2. Open the fuel filler door by pulling the upper handle located under the instrument panel on the driver's side.

WARNING
Gasoline is flammable and explosive. Careless handling of gasoline may cause burns or other serious injuries.
When refueling, stop the engine and do not bring hot or sparking objects or open flames close to the open filler neck.
Perform all operations with gasoline only outdoors, in the open air.
If gasoline splashes onto exposed skin or onto the vehicle surface, wipe it off immediately.

3. Slowly turn and remove the fuel filler cap.
When you unscrew the cap, you may hear a characteristic hissing sound of fuel vapor escaping from the tank.
Place the cap in the holder on the fuel filler door. The cap will not be lost, because it is attached to the filler neck by a tether.
4. Stop refueling as soon as the fuel dispenser pump shuts off automatically.
Do not try to fill the tank completely.
Leave free space in the tank for fuel expansion when heated.
5. Screw the cap onto the fuel filler neck and tighten it securely; you should hear at least one click of the cap ratchet.
6. Close the fuel filler door and press on it to lock it.
