Fuel Cut-Off Switch (for certain vehicle versions)

The fuel cut-off switch is located behind the driver's side trim panel. To access the switch:

1. Open the driver's door.

2. Pry up the lower front edge of the side trim panel (under the door seal), then carefully remove the panel.

3. Remove the side panel from the instrument panel.

4. Locate the fuel cut-off switch, which is located behind the side ventilation opening.

In the event of an accident or sudden impact, the valve automatically cuts off the fuel supply to the engine.

After the valve has tripped, it must be reset manually by pressing the valve button before starting the engine.

WARNING

Fuel leakage may cause a fire or explosion, resulting in serious injury or death to the driver and passengers.

Before returning the fuel valve to the operating position, be sure to check for fuel leaks.
