Wheel and Tire Maintenance

~1min read

In addition to maintaining the recommended tire air pressure, correct wheel alignment angles are important for extending tire service life. If the tire treads wear unevenly, have the wheel alignment angles checked and adjusted at a service station.

If noticeable vibration is felt in the suspension or steering wheel while driving, have the wheels balanced at a dealer service station. Wheel and tire assembly balancing must also always be performed after repair and tire mounting. After installing new tires on the wheel rims, make sure the wheel assemblies are balanced. This improves ride comfort and extends tire service life. After mounting tires, it is also recommended to perform both static and dynamic wheel balancing.
