Snow Chains
Use snow chains only when absolutely necessary, when it is required to drive through difficult (for example, snow-covered or icy) road sections. Snow chains are installed on the front wheels. When driving on ice or compacted snow with snow chains installed, exercise increased attention and caution. Keep in mind that a vehicle with snow chains may have poorer handling compared to a vehicle with winter tires and without chains.
Some types of snow chains may damage the tires, wheels, suspension or vehicle body. Only fine-link chains whose design provides sufficient clearance between the wheels, wheel arches and suspension and steering components may be installed on the vehicle.
When selecting the brand and type of chains, refer to the tire outline drawing with the chain installed, as well as other information and instructions from the chain manufacturer.
Before purchasing a set of snow chains, consult your Honda dealer.
Do not drive a vehicle with snow chains installed on snow-covered or icy roads at speeds over 30 km/h. To avoid rapid wear of the chains and tires, do not drive with chains installed on dry and clear road surfaces.
