Winter Tires

Since summer tread tires do not provide reliable grip on roads covered with snow or ice, we recommend operating the vehicle on winter tires (marked "M+S") during the autumn-winter season.

For safe vehicle handling, install winter tires on all four wheels. Use only one brand and model of tire at a time. When buying winter tires, pay attention to the overall and fitting dimensions, load capacity and speed rating of the tires. Install winter tires in accordance with the information in the vehicle registration documents.

Install winter tires in accordance with the recommendations in the vehicle registration documents. If the vehicle's design speed exceeds the maximum permitted speed for the installed winter tires, then, in accordance with the EEC directive, when winter tires are installed on the vehicle, a label reminding of the speed limit for these tires must be placed within the driver's field of view.
