~1min read

You can increase the set speed using any of the following methods:

• Press and hold the RES/ACCEL button. Release the button once the vehicle reaches the desired speed.

• Press the accelerator pedal. Accelerate the vehicle to the desired speed, then press the SET/DECEL button.

• For a small speed increase, briefly press the RES/ACCEL button several times. Each press increases the vehicle speed by approximately 1.6 km/h.

You can decrease the set speed using any of the following methods:

NOTE: If you need to reduce vehicle speed quickly, press the brake pedal as you would in any other situation.

• Press and hold the SET/DECEL button. Release the button when the vehicle reaches the desired speed.

• To decelerate the vehicle slightly, briefly press the SET/DECEL button.

Each time this button is pressed, the vehicle speed will decrease by approximately 1.6 km/h.

• Briefly and lightly press the brake pedal or clutch pedal. The CRUISE CONTROL indicator on the instrument panel will turn off. When the vehicle slows to the desired speed, press the SET/DECEL button.

Even when the cruise control system is on, you can still use the accelerator pedal to accelerate the vehicle and pass other vehicles. After completing the pass, take your foot off the accelerator pedal. The vehicle will automatically return to the previously set speed.

Pressing the brake pedal or clutch pedal cancels the set vehicle speed control mode.
