Do not disassemble the Birfield CV joint.
Use only the specified grease to lubricate the CV joints.
Always install new clamps when assembling the CV joint.

PROCEDURE

1. Снимите хомуты и стяните защитный чехол с шарикового ШРУСа приводного вала.

1. Remove the clamps and slide the boot off the ball-type CV joint of the drive shaft.

Be careful not to damage the boot.

2. Отверткой с плоским лезвием снимите стопорное кольцо.

2. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, remove the snap ring.
3. Remove the ball-type CV joint from the drive shaft.

4. Снимите пружинное стопорное кольцо, выньте внутреннее кольцо, корпус и шарики

4. Remove the snap ring, then remove the inner race, cage and balls as an assembly.
5. Clean the inner race, cage and balls without disassembling them.
6. Remove the clamps and slide the boots off the ball-type CV joint and the Birfield CV joint.

Предупреждение

If the boot will be reused, wrap the splines of the drive shaft with adhesive tape to protect the boot before removing it.
