Changing the LKA System Function

~1min read

The driver can change the LKA to the lane departure warning on the LCD display. Go to "User Settings" → "Driver Assistance" → "Lane Safety" → "Active LKA/Lane Keeping Assist/Lane Departure Warning/Off".

Active LKA

Active LKA mode provides more frequent steering wheel control compared to the standard LKA mode. Active LKA can reduce driver fatigue by assisting steering to keep the vehicle in the center of the lane.

Standard LKA

This mode helps the driver keep the vehicle within the driving lane. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is moving confidently within the lane. However, it starts to control the steering when the vehicle is about to deviate from the lane.

The LDW system warns the driver with a visual warning and an audible alert when the system detects the vehicle leaving the driving lane. The steering wheel will not be controlled.

Off

When "Off" is selected, the LKA system is deactivated.
