Hyundai Elantra. Paddle shifter

The paddle shifter is available when the shift lever is in D (Drive) or manual shift mode.

With the shift lever in D

The paddle shifter will operate when vehicle speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h).

Pull the paddle shifter [+] or [-] once to shift up or down one gear. The system changes from automatic mode to manual mode.

When vehicle speed is below 10 km/h, the accelerator pedal is depressed for more than 5 seconds, or the shift lever is moved from manual shift mode to D (Drive), the system changes from manual mode back to automatic mode.

With the shift lever in manual shift mode

Pull the paddle shifter [+] or [-] once to shift up or down one gear.

NOTICE

If both paddle shifters [+] and [-] are pulled at the same time, the gear may not shift.
