1. Use the special adapter to connect the radiator cap to the tester.

2. Increase the pressure until the gauge needle stops moving (valve opening pressure).

Main valve opening pressure: 83 - 110 kPa Vacuum valve opening pressure: - 7 kPa 3. Check that the cap valve opening pressure is either equal to the specified value or slightly higher.

4. Replace the radiator cap if the valve opening pressure is lower than the specified value.

Before inspection, make sure the radiator cap is clean. Rust or other foreign matter on the cap sealing gasket may cause incorrect gauge readings.
