Automatic Reverse

~1min read

If the window detects any obstacle while closing automatically, it will stop and lower approximately 12 inches (30 cm) to allow the object to be cleared.

If the window detects resistance while the power window switch is held up continuously, the window will stop moving up, then lower approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm).

If the power window switch is pulled continuously again within 5 seconds after the window has lowered by the auto reverse function, the window auto reverse will not operate.

Information

The auto reverse function is only active when the Auto Up function is used by fully pulling the switch to the second detent.

WARNING

Make sure that body parts or other objects are safely clear of the window before closing it to avoid injury or vehicle damage.

Objects less than 0.16 inch (4 mm) in diameter between the window glass and the upper window channel cannot be detected by the auto reverse function, and the window will not stop and move in the reverse direction.

NOTICE

Do not install any accessories on the windows. The auto reverse function may not operate.
