The driver can disable the power windows of the rear passenger doors by pressing the power window lock switch. When the power window lock switch is pressed:
- The rear passenger will not be able to operate the rear passenger power windows
- Note that the front passenger control panel can still operate the front passenger window, and the driver's master control can still operate all power windows.
NOTICE
- To avoid possible damage to the power window system, do not open or close two or more windows at the same time. This will also ensure the durability of the fuse.
- Never attempt to operate the driver's door master switch and an individual window switch of the opposite door in opposite directions at the same time. If you do so, the window will stop and cannot be opened or closed.
WARNING
- NEVER leave the key in the vehicle with unattended children when the engine is running.
- NEVER leave children unattended in a vehicle. Even very young children may unintentionally cause the vehicle to move, become entangled in windows, or otherwise injure themselves or others.
- Always double-check that hands, fingers, head, and other obstructions are safely clear well before closing the window.
- Do not allow children to play with the power windows. Keep the driver's door lock switch in the LOCK (depressed) position. Serious injury may result from unintentional window operation by a child.
- Do not extend your head, hands, or body out of the windows while driving.
