Maintenance Services

You must exercise the utmost care to prevent damage to your vehicle and injury to yourself when performing any maintenance or inspection procedures.

We recommend that you have your vehicle serviced and repaired by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. An authorized HYUNDAI dealer meets HYUNDAI quality service standards and receives technical support from HYUNDAI to provide you with a high level of service satisfaction.

Owner Responsibility

Maintenance and record keeping are the responsibility of the owner.

You must keep documents showing that proper maintenance has been performed on your vehicle in accordance with the Scheduled Maintenance charts shown on the following pages. This information is necessary for you to establish your compliance with the maintenance requirements of your vehicle warranty.

Detailed warranty information is provided in your Owner's Manual and Warranty Information Booklet.

Repairs and adjustments required as a result of improper care or failure to perform required maintenance are not covered.

Owner Maintenance Precautions

Inadequate, incomplete, or improper maintenance may result in vehicle malfunctions that can lead to vehicle damage, accidents, or personal injury. This chapter provides instructions only for maintenance items that are easy to perform. Some procedures can be performed only by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer with special tools.

Your vehicle must not be modified in any way. Such modifications may adversely affect the performance, safety, or durability of your vehicle and may also void the limited warranty on the vehicle.

Certain modifications may also violate regulations established by the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal or state agencies.

NOTICE

Improper maintenance performed by the owner during the warranty period may affect warranty coverage. For details, refer to the separate Owner's Manual and Warranty Information Booklet provided with the vehicle. If you are not sure of any maintenance or service procedure, have it performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
