Follow the normal maintenance schedule if the vehicle is operated under any of the following conditions. If any of the following conditions apply, you must follow the Severe Duty Maintenance schedule.

  • Frequent short trip driving.
  • Driving in dusty conditions or on sandy areas.
  • Frequent heavy braking.
  • Driving in areas where salt or other corrosive materials are used.
  • Driving on rough or muddy roads.
  • Driving in mountainous areas.
  • Extended periods of idling or low-speed operation.
  • Driving for extended periods in low temperatures and/or humid climates.
  • More than 50 % of driving in heavy city traffic during hot weather above 90°F (32°C).
  • Use of engine oil not recommended (mineral type, special, etc.). For further information or assistance, contact an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE

After 10 years or 100,000 miles, we recommend performing the severe maintenance schedule.
