You can start the engine without inserting the key.

Information

If the Smart Key does not move for a certain period of time, the Smart Key detection function will be suspended. Lift the Smart Key to reactivate detection.

NOTICE

To prevent damage to the Smart Key:

  • Keep the Smart Key away from water or any other liquid, and from fire. If the inside of the Smart Key becomes wet (from beverages or moisture) or overheats, the internal circuit may fail, which may void the vehicle warranty.
  • Do not drop or throw the Smart Key.
  • Protect the Smart Key from extreme temperatures.

NOTICE

Always keep the Smart Key with you when leaving the vehicle. If the Smart Key is left near the vehicle, the vehicle battery may discharge.
