Inspection

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the airbag side cover. (Refer to Body - Crash Pad)
  3. Remove the lower panel. (Refer to Body - Crash Pad)
  4. Using a scraper, remove the lower airbag switch assembly, then disconnect the connectors.
  5. Check the continuity between the switch terminals when the ESC OFF switch is turned on.
