The Parking Assist System assists the driver while the vehicle is moving by sounding a warning tone if an object is detected within 39 in. (100 cm) in front of and 47 in. (120 cm) behind the vehicle.

This system is an optional system that detects objects within the range and location of the sensors. It cannot detect objects in areas where sensors are not installed.

WARNING

  • ALWAYS inspect the area around your vehicle to make sure there are no objects or obstacles before moving the vehicle in any direction to prevent a collision.
  • Always pay close attention when the vehicle is approaching objects, especially pedestrians, and especially children.
  • Be aware that some objects may not be shown on the display or detected by the sensors due to object distance, size, or material, any of which may limit sensor effectiveness.
