Operating conditions

- This system is activated when the indicator on the rear parking assist OFF button is off.

- The detection distance when reversing is approximately 120 cm (47 in) when driving below 10 km/h.

- When multiple objects are detected at the same time, priority is given to the closest one.

Types of warning sounds

- When an object is between 120 cm (47.2 in) and 61 cm (24 in) from the rear bumper: The buzzer sounds intermittently.

- When an object is between 60 cm (23.6 in) and 31 cm (12.2 in) from the rear bumper: The buzzer sounds two intermittent beeps.

- When an object is within 30 cm (11.8 in) of the rear bumper: The buzzer sounds continuously.

Any malfunction of the Parking Assist System is indicated by the absence of warning sounds or by intermittent sounds when R (reverse) is selected. In this case, it is recommended that the vehicle be checked by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
