Description
The Idle Stop & Go (ISG) function automatically turns off the engine when the vehicle stops, and restarts it as soon as the brake pedal is released. This not only reduces fuel consumption but also reduces emissions. The ISG function also has built-in driving safety and comfort sensitivity. The engine does not stop if certain conditions related to safety and comfort are not met (for example, when the engine oil is still cold, when the battery is discharged, or when the outside air temperature is below 3°C). It can be deactivated by pressing the ISG OFF switch on the lower instrument panel. Example scenario: engine stop at a red traffic light or in a traffic jam with frequent stops.Operation

- The vehicle is moving.
- Gear engaged. Accelerator pedal depressed.
- Engine running.
- Driver brakes until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
- The driver shifts into neutral and releases the clutch pedal.
- The engine stops. The "AUTO STOP" symbol illuminates on the instrument cluster.
- Driver wants to continue driving.
- The driver depresses the clutch pedal. The engine starts.
- The gear can be engaged and the journey continued. The "AUTO STOP" symbol goes off.
