Checking the Windshield Washer Fluid Level

Type

When pressing the parking brake pedal with a force of 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N), check that the pedal travel is within the specified range. Also, only the parking brake should keep the vehicle secure on a relatively steep slope. If the travel is not equal to the specified value, we advise that your vehicle's system be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Travel: 3 notches

Type B

Check the parking brake travel by counting the number of "clicks". Only the parking brake should hold the vehicle on a slope. If the travel is more or less than specified, we recommend having the system serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

Travel: 5~6 "clicks" at a force of 20 kg (44 lb, 196 N).
