The emission control system of your vehicle is covered by a limited warranty. Refer to the warranty information contained in your vehicle's service booklet.

Your vehicle is equipped with an emission control system that meets all emission standards.

There are three emission control systems:

(1) Crankcase Emission Control System
(2) Evaporative Emission Control System
(3) Exhaust Emission Control System

To ensure proper operation of the emission control systems, it is recommended that you have your vehicle inspected and serviced by a HYUNDAI authorized dealer in accordance with the maintenance schedule provided in this manual.

WARNING

For Inspection and Maintenance (with Electronic Stability Control (ESC))

  • To prevent engine misfire during the dynamometer test, turn off the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system by pressing the ESC switch.
  • After completing the dynamometer test, reactivate the ESC system by pressing the ESC switch again.
