WARNING
Windshield Defroster
Do not use
Position during cooling in very humid weather. The difference between the outside air temperature and that of the windshield may cause the outside surface of the windshield to fog up, resulting in loss of visibility that may cause an accident resulting in serious injury or death. In this case, set the mode selection button to
position and set the blower speed control knob to a lower speed.
- For maximum defrosting performance, set the temperature control to the maximum temperature setting and adjust the blower speed to the maximum setting.
- If warm air is required at the floor during defrosting or defogging, set the mode to the floor defrost position.
- Before driving, remove all snow and ice from the windshield, rear window, outside mirrors, and all side windows.
- Clear all snow and ice from the hood and the hood air intake grille to improve heater and defroster efficiency and reduce the possibility of fogging on the inside of the windshield.
NOTICE
If the engine temperature is still low after starting, a short warm-up period may be required until the airflow becomes warm or hot.
