Roof Rack

Your vehicle may be equipped with roof rails. If your vehicle is equipped with roof rails, roof rack crossbars can be added as an accessory (not shown).
NOTICE
If the vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, make sure cargo on the roof rails does not interfere with sunroof operation.
NOTICE
- When transporting cargo on the roof rails, take the necessary precautions to make sure the cargo does not damage the vehicle roof.
- When carrying large items on the roof side rails, make sure they do not exceed the overall length or width of the roof.
WARNING
- The following specification is the maximum weight that can be loaded on the roof side rails. Distribute the load as evenly as possible on the roof side rails and secure the cargo firmly. Overloading cargo or luggage beyond the specified weight limit on the roof side rails may damage the vehicle.
- The vehicle center of gravity will be higher when items are loaded on the roof side rails. Avoid sudden starts, braking, sharp turns, abrupt maneuvers, or high speeds, which may cause loss of vehicle control or rollover, resulting in an accident.
- Always drive slowly and take corners carefully when carrying items on the roof side rails. Strong gusts of wind caused by passing vehicles or natural causes may cause a sudden increase in pressure on items loaded on the roof side rails. This is especially true when carrying large flat items, such as wooden panels or mattresses. This may cause items to fall from the roof side rails and result in damage to your vehicle or injury to people around you.
- To prevent damage to or loss of cargo while driving, check frequently before and during driving to make sure the items on the roof side rails are securely fastened.
