Using the Digital Key

To use the Hyundai Digital Key mobile application, you must install the Hyundai Digital Key application on your Android phone. Search for "Hyundai Digital Key" in Google Play Store and download the application. Refer to the detailed Digital Key application manual. The option can be found in the following menu of the application:

Deleting Digital Key Settings When Purchasing a Used Vehicle

If any of the digital keys (smartphone key or card key) is already registered, the message "Digital Key(s) Active on Cluster" appears once when you press the ENGINE START/STOP button after unlocking the door. If you sell your vehicle or purchase a used Hyundai vehicle equipped with the Digital Key feature, you must confirm the message and delete the registered smartphone key and card key. For more information, please contact a Hyundai Customer Care Center. If the card key does not operate properly, delete the card key, register the smartphone key, and then re-register the card key.

For Vehicle Service

If you need to repair or replace the Digital Key system, make sure your smartphone key is still active. You may need to re-pair your phone.

In some cases, you may need to re-initialize your digital keys using the Hyundai Digital Key mobile application.
