Airbag Warning Lamp

This lamp, located on the instrument panel, is intended to warn the driver of possible problems in the airbag system - SRS (Supplemental Restraint System).

When the ignition is turned on, the lamp should illuminate for approximately 6 seconds and then go off.

Have the system inspected in the following cases:

• The lamp does not illuminate immediately after the ignition is turned on.
• The lamp remains illuminated after approximately 6 seconds.
• The lamp illuminates while the vehicle is being driven.
• The lamp flashes when the ignition key is in the ON position.
