WARNING

To reduce the risk of accidental airbag deployment and serious injury or death:

  • Do not strike or allow any objects to impact the areas where the air bags or sensors are installed.
  • Do not perform service on or around the airbag sensors. If the location or angle of the sensors is changed, the airbags may deploy when they should not, or may fail to deploy.
  • Do not install bumper guards without genuine Hyundai parts or non-equivalent parts. This may adversely affect collision and airbag deployment performance.
  • Turn the ignition switch to the OFF or ACC position and wait 3 minutes before towing the vehicle to avoid accidental airbag deployment.
  • Make sure all airbag repairs are performed by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
