Rear Combination Lamp Repair Procedures

Removal

   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

   Loosen the screws (2 pcs) securing the rear combination lamp, then disconnect the connector (A), then remove the outer rear combination lamp (B).

   Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove the rear/stop lamp bulb (A) and the turn signal bulb (B).

   Loosen the nuts (A) after removing the luggage door lamp cover.

   Remove the rear liftgate lamp (B) by disconnecting the connector (A).

   Turn the socket counterclockwise to remove the back-up lamp bulb (A) and the tail lamp bulb (B).

   If only the bulbs are to be replaced without removing the lamp assembly, replace the back-up lamp bulb (A) and the tail lamp bulb (B) after removing the rear door lamp cover in the luggage compartment.

   

Installation

1. 1
   Install the luggage door combination lamp unit after assembling the bulb.
2. 2
   Install the luggage door lamp cover after connecting the lamp connector.
3. 3
   Install the rear combination lamp assembly after assembling the lamps and connecting the lamp connector.
