This engine meets all diesel emissions requirements. To achieve these emissions standards, your vehicle is equipped with a modern engine and exhaust system. These systems are seamlessly integrated into your vehicle and are controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The PCM manages engine combustion, allowing the exhaust system catalyst to capture and burn particulate matter (PM) pollutants, without input or interaction from you.

In addition, your vehicle is capable of alerting you to additional maintenance required on your vehicle or engine.
