Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

• When the system determines that it is dangerous for a passenger to open the vehicle door by detecting an approaching vehicle from behind, a warning message "Watch for Traffic" will appear when the person opens the door, and the warning sound will continue for one second. (❈ This system is an optional system.)
WARNING
- The system does not detect every obstacle approaching the vehicle when exiting.
- The driver and passengers are responsible for any accident that occurs when exiting the vehicle. Always check your surroundings before exiting the vehicle.
- Playing the vehicle audio system at high volume may mask the system warning sound.
- The Safe Exit Assist warning may not sound during other system warning sounds.
