The ventilated seat is designed to cool the driver's or front passenger's seat in hot weather by blowing air through small ventilation holes on the seat cushion and seatback. With the engine running, press the switch to cool the seat.
When ventilated seat operation is not required, keep the switches in the OFF position.
- Each time the switch is pressed, the airflow changes as follows:

- If the switch is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds while the seat cooling is operating, the seat cooler will turn off.
- When the ventilated seat is on, the seat may become cooler after approximately 5 minutes.
- Because the ventilated seat uses the air inside the vehicle, cooling efficiency depends on the air temperature. To improve cooling efficiency, use the air conditioning system together with the ventilated seat.
- The ventilated seat is set to the OFF position by default each time the ignition switch is turned to the ON position.
CAUTION! Seat Damage
- When cleaning the seats, do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These may damage the ventilated seat.
- Do not place heavy or sharp objects on the seat. These may damage the ventilated seat.
- Be careful not to spill liquids such as water or beverages on the seat. If liquid is spilled, wipe the seat with a dry towel. Before using the ventilated seat, make sure the seat is completely dry.
- Do not modify the seat upholstery. This may damage the seat warmer or ventilation system.
