When using a floor mat on the front floor carpet, make sure it is secured to the floor mat anchors in the vehicle. This prevents the floor mat from sliding forward.

WARNING

When installing ANY floor mat in the vehicle, observe the following.

  • Make sure the floor mats are securely fastened to the floor anchor(s) before driving the vehicle.
  • Do not use ANY floor mats that cannot be securely fastened to the vehicle's floor mat anchors.
  • Do not stack floor mats on top of each other (for example, an all-weather rubber mat on top of a carpeted mat). Only one floor mat should be installed in each position. IMPORTANT – Your vehicle is equipped with floor mat anchors on the driver's side, which are designed to securely hold the floor mat in place. To avoid any interference with pedal operation, Kia recommends a floor mat designed for use in your vehicle.
