Seat Heating

~2min read

Seat warmers are designed to heat the front seats in cold weather. With the ignition switch in the ON position, press the switch to heat the seat.

In mild weather or when seat warmers are not required, keep the switches in the OFF position.

  • Each time you press the switch, the seat temperature setting will change as follows:
    - Front seat

    - Rear seat
  • If the switch is pressed for more than 1.5 seconds, the seat warmer turns off.
  • The seat warmer is in the OFF position by default each time the engine is started/stopped.

✽ NOTICE

When the seat warmer switch is in the ON position, the seat warmer system turns off or on automatically depending on the seat temperature.

CAUTION! Seat Damage

  • When cleaning the seats, do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. This may damage the surface of the seat warmer or seat.
  • To prevent overheating of the seat warmer, do not place heat-insulating items such as blankets, cushions, or seat covers on the seats while the seat warmers are operating.
  • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on the seat. These may damage the seat warmer system.
  • Be careful not to spill liquids such as water or beverages on the seat. If liquid is spilled, wipe the seat with a dry towel. Before using the seat warmer, dry the seat completely.
  • Do not modify the seat upholstery. This may damage the seat warmer or ventilation system.

WARNING. The seat warmer is hot.
