This indicator light illuminates:

  • After you turn the ignition key or engine start/stop button to the ON position,
    - the light comes on for about 3 seconds and then goes off.
  • If there is a malfunction in the ABS (the normal brake system operates without anti-lock braking assistance).
    In this case, we recommend that you have the vehicle checked at an authorized Kia dealer service center.
