Used to select the outside air (fresh) air or recirculated air position.

To change the air intake control position, press the control button.

Recirculated Air Position

When the recirculation position is selected, air from the passenger compartment will be drawn in through the heating system and heated or cooled according to the selected function.

Outside (Fresh) Air Position

If the recirculated air position is not selected or is off, outside air enters the vehicle and is heated or cooled according to the selected function.

Prolonged operation of the heater in the recirculation position (without air conditioning) may cause the windshield and side windows to fog up and the air in the passenger compartment may become stale.

In addition, prolonged use of the air conditioning with the recirculation position selected will cause excessively dry air in the passenger compartment.
