The climate control air filter installed behind the glove box filters dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle from outside through the heating and air conditioning system. If dust or other contaminants accumulate in the filter over a period of time, airflow from the vents may decrease, leading to moisture build-up on the inside of the windshield even when the outside (fresh) air position is selected. If this occurs, have the climate control air filter replaced by an authorized Kia dealer.

✽ NOTICE

  • Replace the filter in accordance with the Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is driven in severe conditions, such as dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspection and replacement of the air conditioner filters may be required.
  • If the airflow suddenly decreases, the system should be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
