Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the drive belt.

    (See Drive Belt System - Drive Belt)

  2. Remove the engine room cover.

    (See Engine and Transaxle Assembly - Under Hood)

  3. Remove the right front wheel.

    (See Suspension System — Wheel)

  4. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley (A).

    Tightening torque:

    46.1–52.0 N·m (4.7–5.3 kgf·m, 34.0–38.3 ft-lbf) + 38°–42°

Inspection

Check the crankshaft pulley damper for vibration during rotation and oil dust deposits on the V-belt section. Replace if necessary.
