Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the drive belt.

    (See Drive Belt System - Drive Belt)

  2. Loosen the upper generator mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening torque:

    26.5–37 N·m [Class 10T]

    24.3–27 N·m [Class 8T]

  3. Loosen the adjusting bolt (B).

  4. Remove the generator bracket (C).

    Tightening torque: 24.3–27 N·m

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  6. After installing the generator bracket, adjust the drive belt tension by tightening the adjusting bolt.
