Replacing an Inside Panel Fuse

1. Turn the ignition key and all other switches off.
2. Open the fuse panel cover.
If the switch is in the OFF position, the warning light will be displayed in the instrument cluster.
To locate a specific fuse, refer to the inside of the fuse panel cover and the fuse description list in this section.

3. Pull the suspected fuse straight out. Use the removal tool provided in the engine compartment fuse panel cover.
4. Check the removed fuse; replace it if it is blown. Spare fuses are located in the fuse block in the engine compartment.
5. Insert a new fuse of the same rating, and make sure it fits securely in the clips.
If it does not fit securely, contact an authorized Kia dealer.
If you do not have a spare fuse, use a fuse of the same rating from a circuit you may not need to operate the vehicle, such as the power outlet fuse.
If the headlight, turn signal lamp, stop lamp, fog light, daytime running light (DRL), tail lamp, or high-mounted stop lamp (HMSL) does not work and the fuses are good, check the engine compartment fuse box. If a fuse is blown, it must be replaced.
✽ NOTICE
If the headlight, fog light, turn signal light, or tail light malfunctions even without a lamp problem, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer.
