Interior Door Locks

With Door Lock Button

• To unlock the door, pull the door lock knob (1) to the "UNLOCK" position. The red mark on the handle will be visible.
• To lock the door, push the door lock knob (1) to the "LOCK" position. If the door is locked properly, the red mark on the door handle will not be visible.
• To open the door, pull the door handle (2) outward.
• If the inside handle of the front door is pulled while the door lock knob is in the lock position, the knob will unlock and the door will open.

WARNING

Do not pull the inside door handle while the vehicle is in motion.

• The front doors cannot be locked if the ignition key is in the ignition switch (or if the smart key is in the vehicle) and any front door is open.

If the power door lock stops working while you are inside the vehicle, try one or more of the following methods to exit:

• Use the door unlock function repeatedly (both electronically and manually) while pulling the door handle.
• Open the other front and rear door locks and handles.
• Lower the front window and use the key to unlock the door from the outside.

With Central Door Lock Switch

Operate the central door lock switch by pressing it.

• Move the switch to the "LOCK" position (1) to lock all doors of the vehicle.
• Press the switch to the "UNLOCK" position (2) to unlock all doors of the vehicle.
• If the key is in the ignition switch (or if the smart key is in the vehicle) and any front door is open, the doors will not lock when the "LOCK" position (1) of the central door lock switch is pressed. (if equipped)

WARNING - Doors

• Doors must always be fully closed and locked while the vehicle is in motion to prevent accidental door opening.
• Be careful when opening the doors and watch for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, or pedestrians approaching the vehicle in the path of the door. Opening a door when something is approaching may cause damage or injury.

WARNING - Unattended Children/Animals

Never leave children or animals unattended in your vehicle.

A closed vehicle can become extremely hot, which may result in death or serious injury to children or animals left unattended who cannot leave the vehicle.

Crash Unlock System

All doors will unlock automatically when an impact causes the airbags to deploy.

Door Unlocking System with Engine Off

All doors automatically unlock:

- Without smart key system

When the key is removed from the ignition switch.

- With smart key system

When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in the OFF position.
