Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear wheel and tire (A).

    Tightening torque: 107.9–128 N·m

  2. Support the jack under the torsion beam axle.

  3. Loosen the lower mounting bolt and remove the rear shock absorber (A).

    Tightening torque: 98.0–118 N·m

  4. Remove the coil spring (A).

  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

  6. Check the wheel alignment.

Inspection

  1. Check the coil spring for cracks and deformation.

  2. Check the coil spring insulator for damage and deformation.
