1. Rear oil seal


Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the transaxle assembly.

    Manual Transaxle System:

    DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) System:

  2. Remove the flywheel.

    (See Cylinder Block - Flywheel)

  3. Remove the rear oil seal (A).

  4. Install a new rear oil seal.

    1. Apply engine oil to the lip of the new oil seal.

    2. Using SST (09231-H1100, 09231-2B200) and a hammer, drive in the rear oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.

  5. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
