Adjustment

TCM Learning

When a shift shock occurs or parts related to the transmission are replaced, TCM learning must be performed. TCM learning is required in the following cases.
  • Transaxle Assembly Replacement
  • TCM Replacement
  • Valve Body Replacement
  • TCM Upgrade

TCM Learning Procedure

  1. TCM Learning Conditions
    • ATF Temperature: 40 ~ 95 °C
  2. TCM Learning Procedure a. Stop learning
    • Repeat the shift pattern described below four or more times while applying the brake.

Driving Learning

1) Drive the vehicle in all gears in the D range. Drive from stop in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, keeping the throttle opening fixed. 2) Downshift from 6th to 5th, 5th to 4th, 4th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd, 2nd to 1st. 3) Repeat the above driving pattern four or more times. Throttle opening during upshift: 15 ~ 30%
