  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least thirty seconds before starting work.
  2. Remove the EFD protective cover (A).
  3. Remove the seat belt by pressing the lock pin with a flat-tip screwdriver (B).
  4. Remove the door scuff trim. (Refer to Body - Interior Trim)
  5. Remove the center pillar trim. (Refer to Body - Interior Trim)
  6. Disconnect the EFD connector (A).
  7. Loosen the EFD mounting bolt (B) and remove the EFD.
