  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait at least thirty seconds before starting work.
  2. Remove the emergency fastening device cover trim (A). [Driver only]
  3. Remove the seat belt by pressing the lock pin with a flat-tip screwdriver (B).
  4. Remove the door scuff trim. (Refer to Body - Interior Trim)
  5. Remove the center pillar trim. (Refer to Body - Interior Trim)
  6. Remove the upper seat belt mounting bolt.
  7. Loosen the seat belt pretensioner mounting bolts (A, B), then remove the seat belt pretensioner.
  8. Disconnect the seat belt pretensioner connector.
