The Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) uses the steering wheel angle and vehicle speed to enhance the field of view by swiveling and aligning the headlight.

With the engine running, turn the switch to the AUTO position. The Dynamic Bending Light (DBL) will operate when the headlights are on. To turn off DBL, move the switch to another position. After DBL is turned off, the headlights do not swivel, but leveling continues to operate continuously.

If the DBL malfunction indicator illuminates, DBL is not operating properly. Drive the vehicle to the nearest safe place and restart the engine. If the indicator remains illuminated, have the vehicle checked by an authorized Kia dealer as soon as possible.
