(1) OFF position
(2) AUTO light position
(3) Parking and tail lamp position
(4) Headlamp position

Parking and Tail Lights

When the light switch is in the position lights position, the tail lights, license plate lights and parking lights illuminate.

Headlight position

When the light switch is in the headlight position, the headlights, tail lights and license plate lights illuminate.

✽ NOTICE

The ignition switch must be in the ON position to turn on the headlights.

Auto Light / DBL Position

When the light switch is in the AUTO position, the tail lights and headlights automatically turn on or off depending on the amount of light outside the vehicle.

If your vehicle is equipped with Dynamic Bending Light (DBL), it also operates when the headlights are on.

CAUTION

  • Never place anything on the sensor (1) located on the instrument panel. This ensures better control of the automatic lighting system.
  • Do not clean the sensor with window cleaner. The cleaner may leave a light film that can interfere with sensor operation.
  • If your vehicle has tinted glass or other metallic coatings on the front windshield, the automatic light system may not operate correctly.
